He started his career at JP Morgan Chase as an analyst in the risk management department, responsible for assessing and managing the risk of investment portfolios. Later, he joined PayPal as a senior director of risk management, where he successfully built an advanced fraud detection and prevention system, significantly reducing the company's operational risk. In 2016, Thane shifted to the blockchain industry, joining a startup called CryptoSecure as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), responsible for building the company's risk management framework and regulatory compliance system.
