๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธPoSA Consensus Mechanism and On-Chain Governance

In Link Network's PoSA mechanism, nodes must hold a certain amount of stake and gain community approval to become validators, naturally integrating elements of on-chain governance.

  • Election and Role of Validators: Validators, elected through community voting and staking, are responsible for generating new blocks, verifying transactions, and executing smart contracts. This process reduces energy consumption and ensures democratic and transparent on-chain governance through community participation.

  • Governance Decisions: Without tokens, governance decisions (such as protocol updates, governance rule modifications, etc.) are typically made through validator meetings and community votes. Each validator's voting weight can be adjusted based on their stake and community trust level, reflecting their contribution and responsibility to the network.
